Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager with extensive experience in Life & Health Insurance technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, and Digital Transformation across APAC markets. This role requires proven expertise in leading large-scale transformation programs, particularly in underwriting modernization, straight-through processing (STP), policy administration, payment ecosystems, and customer servicing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale transformation programs within the Life & Health Insurance sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions that enhance New Business, Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration processes.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong Program Management knowledge with a focus on Life & Health Insurance technology.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation programs.
- Expertise in underwriting modernization, straight-through processing (STP), and policy administration.
- Experience with payment ecosystems and customer servicing platforms.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in APAC markets.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance industry.
- Experience with digital transformation strategies and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- 10-13 years of relevant experience in program and project management within the Life & Health Insurance sector.
