Senior Program Manager - Life & Health Insurance Technology

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager with extensive experience in Life & Health Insurance technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, and Digital Transformation across APAC markets. This role requires proven expertise in leading large-scale transformation programs, particularly in underwriting modernization, straight-through processing (STP), policy administration, payment ecosystems, and customer servicing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale transformation programs within the Life & Health Insurance sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions that enhance New Business, Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration processes.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong Program Management knowledge with a focus on Life & Health Insurance technology.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation programs.
  • Expertise in underwriting modernization, straight-through processing (STP), and policy administration.
  • Experience with payment ecosystems and customer servicing platforms.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in APAC markets.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Experience with digital transformation strategies and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • 10-13 years of relevant experience in program and project management within the Life & Health Insurance sector.
