About The Role

  • The Senior Financial Analyst supports the finance business partnering function by delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking and process improvement initiatives.
  • This role is well-suited for a strong analytical professional who is comfortable working with large datasets, thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys translating financial data into meaningful business insights.

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to support budgeting, planning and forecasting activities.
    • Provide insightful, value-added analysis on key financial results, variances and business drivers.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and scenario analysis.
  • Business Partnering and Decision Support
    • Support the finance business partnering function by providing data-driven insights to stakeholders.
    • Translate financial outcomes into clear business implications and recommendations.
    • Engage with cross-functional teams to support performance management and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Process Improvement and Automation
    • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, including automation and streamlining of finance processes.
    • Improve efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Month-End and Financial Close Support
    • Support month-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting timelines.
    • Assist with reconciliations, analysis and preparation of management information as required.
What We Are Looking For

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting or business partnering roles.
  • Experience working with large datasets in a commercial or corporate finance environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with sound business and commercial acumen.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a structured and logical approach.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities and deadlines.
