What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and maintainable applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Architect and maintain our application infrastructure, including backend services, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and data-fetching strategies.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, security, and performance across the team.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor other developers through constructive code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining large-scale web applications.
- Expert proficiency in Javascript and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of the modern ecosystem (including Node.js and at least one major frontend framework like React, Vue, or Angular).
- Demonstrated expertise in application testing; you must have strong experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Cypress/Playwright.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable backend architectures and complex API solutions (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring.
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Especially GCP or AWS).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public portfolio.
