Our client is a newly formed FinTech partnership focused on delivering next-generation, cloud-first trading solutions for global institutional clients across multiple asset classes. The products are designed to be modular, scalable, well-tested, and discoverable, enabling rapid business growth and continuous innovation.
Our project aims to modernize and disrupt traditional trading systems through advanced engineering practices and high-performance architecture.
IF YOU ARE
- A backend-oriented Node.js Engineer with 5+ years of commercial experience in software development
- Experienced in building production systems using also Nest.js, TypeScript, GraphQL
- Skilled in working with NoSQL databases such as Redis
- Familiar with messaging systems such as Kafka or similar one
- Confident with AWS on any other public cloud providers
- Knowledgeable in databases as such PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Familiar with Kubernetes, Helm, and troubleshooting cloud environments using tools like Grafana
- Knowledgeable in event-driven architecture, event sourcing, and microservices communication patterns
- Experienced in building concurrent and high-performance applications
- Capable of communicating fluently in English at upper-intermediate level in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of Java (as a plus)
- Familiar with frontend technologies such as React or Angular (as an advantage)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Build backend services and applications from scratch for a next-generation trading platform
- Participate in architecture and technology decision-making processes
- Own the full development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders
- Develop high-performance backend microservices supporting trading operations
- Contribute to building an advanced Order Management System (OMS) for institutional trading
- Share knowledge within the team and continuously improve engineering practices
