Job Description
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers in accordance with company policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address billing or payment inquiries.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Generate financial reports and analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful AR Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
