We are looking for a Data & Solution Architect to support a strategic data initiative for one of our key clients in Barcelona.

You will act as a technical reference within the Data area, defining, challenging and validating data architectures and solution designs. You will ensure consistency across data initiatives, support Project Managers, and guide the migration from on‑premise environments to cloud solutions, working closely with Data Analytics teams in Spain.

Experience & Skills (Must‑have)

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, covering both cloud and on‑premise environments
• Strong expertise in Oracle and BigQuery (essential)
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Solid experience defining, reviewing and validating high‑level data architectures and solution designs
• Experience working with Waterfall methodologies, Data Pull, and tools such as Rally / Jira
• Excellent communication skills to challenge, influence and align with multiple stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud transformation programs
• Background in the insurance sector
  
  

• Define, question and validate data architectures and solution designs
• Review and supervise solution designs delivered by data teams
• Participate in conceptualization sessions for projects starting from scratch
• Ensure architectural coherence across different initiatives
• Act as a technical advisor to PMs and data teams
• Support and guide on‑premise to cloud migration initiatives
  
  

• Start Date: May
• Duration: Until December, with possible extension
• Work Model: Hybrid - Barcelona (2-3 onsite days during the first month)
