Research Associate
Description
We are looking for a Research Associate who is able to contribute in shaping a truly unique agency through the creation of data-oriented insights in a moderate and engaging way and work across a range of clients to provide inspiring insights to planners, to clients and to the industry; to act as an ambassador for EMIR Research team at all times.
Responsibilities
- To embed within the research planning and research team
- To develop a good working knowledge of the company’s proprietary research tools (to develop insights and support planners on using and applying them).
- To develop your primary research skills, both qualitative and quantitative, including:
- Questionnaire design
- Quantitative analyses (SPSS. AMOS etc.)
- To determine what research and insights currently available and identify the knowledge gaps
- Be able to synthesize information from a variety of fields and connect them to research within a Malaysian context
- Participate in new research pitches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably a Master's degree or professional qualification in Economy, Finance, Political Science, Education, Social Science or similar field with 4-6 years of professional work experience.
- Experience with co and data analysis with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and administrative management skills
- A positive outgoing attitude with good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong professional relationships with both local and global stakeholders
- Tech and research tools savvy
