As we scale our supplier network and category complexity, we’re looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our Sourcing team and take full ownership of category performance—driving supplier strategy, commercial outcomes, and execution across multiple stakeholders.
You’ll bring structure, commercial thinking, and operational discipline to sourcing activities. particularly in high-impact categories that require strong ownership beyond what individual contributors can manage alongside their core responsibilities. You’re not here to coordinate from the sidelines; you’re here to make decisions, lead from the front, and deliver results.

🌶️ Your Impact in This Role - Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership & Strategy
- Own end-to-end performance of assigned categories, acting as the go-to expert across products, supplier networks, and market dynamics
- Drive category strategy through market insights, best practices, and data-led recommendations
- Translate deal requirements into sourcing solutions that are commercially viable, operationally executable, and competitive
Supplier Management & Commercial Performance
- Lead supplier negotiations using market intelligence to secure optimal terms across cost, quality, and reliability
- Build and manage supplier relationships to strengthen long-term performance and reduce risk
- Solve complex sourcing challenges by identifying root causes and implementing effective, scalable solutions
Execution & Delivery
- Oversee sourcing initiatives, tracking progress and proactively removing blockers to ensure on-time delivery
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs, deal urgency, and strategic impact
Team Leadership & Development
- Elevate team capability to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all sourcing activities
Process, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Take full accountability for sourcing outcomes, ensuring alignment across sales, suppliers, and operations
JOB INFORMATION
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or related roles, with minimum 2 years in a management position.
- Experience specific to the food & beverage, or CPG sourcing environments.
- Advanced in Chinese - read & write (capability to communicate with Chinese suppliers)- Mandatory Qualification
- Experienced in Google Workspace and experience using cloud-based document control systems
- Experience with procurement and operational tools (e.g. ERP systems, Airtable, e-sourcing platforms, contract management software)
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing best practices, market dynamics, and industry trends.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience in CPG, food & beverage, private label, or supply chain environments strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working in or with globally distributed, remote teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English & Mandarin, capable of running an effective async update as well as a live coordination call.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment .
- Effective communication & negotiation skills for interaction and collaboration within the organization.
- Strong agility to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.

🌍 Remote Work & Contract Setup
- Remote, global team — we’re fully distributed and work across multiple time zones
- Contractor model, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to overlap with U.S. and global customer hours and other team members
