DevOps Engineer – CI/CD:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a DevOps Engineer – CI/CD for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
DevOps Engineer – CI/CD - Job Description:
The project involves supporting CI/CD DevOps work, including releases and migrations, as well as deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Machines. The role supports the application under the Client Engineering - Mobile and Web business unit.
DevOps Engineer – CI/CD - Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with UI developers, backend API developers, business system analysts, and architects.
- Communicate daily with the team through Teams.
- Troubleshoot issues in the test environment.
- Work with stakeholders such as BA, application developers, and other internal teams.
- Support non-prod and prod releases.
DevOps Engineer – CI/CD - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of overall experience in the IT industry supporting enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE/Production Support roles.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Machines.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure DevOps.
- 3+ years of experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.
- 3+ years of Linux/Unix systems support and troubleshooting experience.
DevOps Engineer – CI/CD – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of incident management, RCA, and ITIL processes.
- Previous experience with top 5 banks.
DevOps Engineer – CI/CD – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
