Direct, organize and manage the overall implementation of COMPANY offshore and onshore exploration drilling activities at the work sites in accordance with approved programs, procedures, and practices and with the specific objective of achieving optimum operating cost, safeguarding the safety of personnel and property and protection of the environment.
To provide technical input and feedback on well design and planning.
Review SID program
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot major operational problems, i.e.: well control and emergency that may occur during the operations.
Manage the drilling activities safely by implementing and enforcing good oil field drilling practices and other statutory requirements as required by law.
Identify unsafe practices, procedures and advise innovative solutions to remedy the problems.
Plan and control rig activities such as timely scheduling of equipment, materials, and services to avoid costly delays by continuous forecasting rig forward activities and requirements.
Enhance operations efficiency by constantly evaluating and analysing the practices, procedures and problems and recommending changes for improvement.
To be involved in post drilling performance analysis activities to enable capturing of lesson learnt.
Conduct assessment, established training plan, support, and develop permanent staffs.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Possess valid IWCF Level 4 (Drilling)
Minimum twenty-five (25) years' experience in well engineering / drilling operation.
Minimum five (5) years' experience as Drilling Superintendent.
