Mechanical Engineer

We’re excited to expand our Sustaining Engineering Team and need an enthusiastic and versatile Mechanical Engineer to help relentlessly improve our products. In this role, you'll proactively identify and pursue opportunities to optimize our products and ensure they remain irresistible to users.

As you take on new challenges, you will apply and refine your engineering skills such as project management, DFMA, tolerance analysis, strength calculations, FEA simulations, and precision mechanical design. The scope of your projects will range from single-part design changes to complete product redesigns.

Supported by a large pool of experienced engineers, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to a variety of interesting problems. Your work will enable our customers to advance science and technology across sectors such as photonics, biotechnology, and industrial automation.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate across teams with experts in mechanical design, customer applications, manufacturing, electrical engineering, software development, firmware, and supply chain.
• Identify, prioritize, manage, and implement product improvement projects (feature additions, new variants, cost savings, quality improvements, etc).
• Design, prototype, and test product improvement projects.

You’re the ideal Mechanical Engineer if you have:

• Experience in project management and product design, mechanical design, or manufacturing environments.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar.
• Skill and passion for prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail.
• Desire for learning and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.

Mechanical Engineer Wage

• The starting wage for the role ranges from $31 - $56/hour, depending on experience.
