About the job

The opening is a full time permanent position at junior executive level. Reporting to Senior Accounts Executive and/or Finance Manager, the role will work in close liaison with both the reconciliation and accounts receivable teams.

Regional Accounts Receivable Leadership

• Lead and manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process across multiple countries, ensuring timely and accurate billing, cash application, collections and account reconciliations.
• Develop and implement regional AR strategies, policies and procedures to improve cash collection performance and reduce overdue receivables.
• Monitor customer credit exposure, establish credit control frameworks and support commercial teams in customer onboarding and credit assessments.
• Drive collection effectiveness through proactive aging management, escalation protocols and dispute resolution processes.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and mitigate collection risks, bad debt exposure and customer payment issues.

• Monitor AR ageing, collection effectiveness, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), overdue balances and cash conversion metrics across all markets.

Intercompany Management

Process Excellence and Transformation

• Drive standardization and harmonization of AR and Intercompany processes across Southeast Asia, India, China and Hong Kong.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, including substantial experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Order-to-Cash and/or Intercompany Accounting within a multinational environment.

MerchantSpring is launching a new commercial division focused on its API offering. We are looking for a Technical Account Executive to bridge the gap between the technology and sales teams.

In the early stages, you will be the main commercial owner for API opportunities. This involves leading customers through technical discovery, solution scoping, demos, qualification, proposals, and customer handover. Working closely with leadership, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, you will turn API demand into a well-oiled sales funnel.

The part you will play

The Online Trade Activation Executive supports the execution of e-commerce campaigns and daily online operations across marketplaces. This role ensures product listings, promotions, and online assets are accurate, conversion-ready, and aligned with brand guidelines. It is suited for candidates who want to grow into an Online Brand / E- commerce Manager role.

As an Online Trade Activation Executive, you will take charge of

• Execute and support e-commerce campaigns, promotions, and trade mechanics across platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, website), with understanding of the commercial objective behind each activation.
• Create, update, and maintain product listings, ensuring accuracy in pricing, content, and visuals, and flag potential issues that may impact conversion or customer experience.
• Ensure product pages follow brand guidelines and are optimized for conversion (keywords, visuals, cross-selling).
• Support adaptation of online assets (banners, posters, basic ad visuals) to meet platform requirements.
• Coordinate with agencies and internal teams to fix listing or campaign issues, taking ownership to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Monitor stock availability, campaign readiness, and basic performance signals during key campaigns, and escalate risks early.
• Support customer review monitoring and escalate service or product issues when needed.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• 1–3 years experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, or online trade execution.
• Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
• Good understanding of the online customer journey and conversion drivers.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia for basic copywriting and keyword optimization.
• Good visual judgement and ability to adapt assets for online platforms.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and being on standby during peak campaigns.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn beyond task execution.

Nice to Have

• Experience in beauty, FMCG, or digital commerce.
• Familiarity with Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop backends.
• Basic knowledge of SEO or marketplace search behavior.

The part you will play

As an Assistant Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day- to-day commercial and operational success of CPD brands across Malaysia’s leading e- marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop). This role is designed for a high-energy “doer” who can balance commercial negotiations with rigorous operational follow-through to ensure our brands are always available, visible, and competitive.

As an Assistant Key Account Manager, you will take charge of

Account Management & Commercial Execution

• Drive the daily sales performance for assigned platforms to meet monthly and quarterly GMV targets.

• Execute the promotional calendar, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately and on time.

• Manage the backend of e-marketplaces (Seller Centres), and oversee product uploads, pricing updates, and voucher creations.
  

Operational Excellence & Store Health

• Inventory Management: Closely monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely replenishment, especially for top-selling products.
• Store Metrics: Maintain “Perfect Store” standards by monitoring Chat Response Rates, Shipping Lead Times, and Seller Ratings to ensure it remains a preferred seller.
• Content Maintenance: Ensure all product listings have optimized titles, descriptions, and high-quality images/banners that comply with brand guidelines.

Campaign Operations & Visibility

• Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to ensure all digital assets (banners, landing pages) are localized and uploaded correctly for every campaign.
• Monitor on-platform search rankings and visibility, ensuring our products are easy for consumers to find.
• Execute submissions and participate in platform-led marketing initiatives to maximize traffic.

Data Tracking & Reporting

• Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, traffic, and conversion rates.
• Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activities daily, providing quick feedback to the commercial team.
• Track and reconcile trade spend (marketing investments and discounts) to ensure budget compliance.

Partner Relations

• Maintain a professional working relationship with platform Category Managers to secure better visibility and campaign slots.
• Work closely with the warehouse and logistics partners to troubleshoot any fulfillment or delivery issues.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in E-commerce operations or account management. Experience in FMCG or high-volume retail is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Shopee Seller Centre, Lazada Business Advisor, and/or TikTok Shop Seller Center is essential.
• Operational Rigor: Highly organized with a "zero-defect" mindset regarding pricing and stock management.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to manage large sets of SKU data and sales reports.
• Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who is comfortable with the fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable nature of e commerce logistics and campaign cycles.
• Communication: Strong command of English. (Local language skills are a bonus but not a mandatory requirement for this specific profile).

About the role:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support our AML/CTF compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions. In this role, you’ll help develop and maintain compliance frameworks, oversee customer due diligence processes, and monitor transactions to identify and escalate suspicious activity. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met while balancing business needs.

The role also involves reviewing high-risk clients, supporting reporting obligations, and ensuring proper record-keeping and data protection practices. You’ll contribute to staff training, promote awareness of compliance standards, and help strengthen internal processes. Job Responsibility

AML/CTF Framework & Policy

Develop, review, and update AML/CTF policies and procedures in line with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
Implement group-wide AML/CTF compliance standards and ensure consistency across jurisdictions.
Maintain and enhance the company's AML risk-based approach and customer due diligence (CDD) procedures.

Customer Due Diligence (CDD/KYC)

Oversee the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of clients, ensuring appropriate identification, verification, and screening (including PEP, sanctions, and adverse media).
Review high-risk client profiles and approve enhanced due diligence (EDD) measures.
Monitor and ensure third-party verification tools (e.g., SumSub, WorldCheck) are effectively configured and maintained.

Transaction Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor client transactions for suspicious activity using automated surveillance tools and manual reviews.
Investigate alerts, document findings, and escalate suspicious activity reports (SMR) to the CCO.
Prepare and submit reports to relevant financial intelligence units (e.g., AUSTRAC, FIU-Mauritius, FSA Seychelles) within required timelines.

Training & Awareness

Conduct AML/CTF training for employees across departments.
Ensure staff are familiar with red-flag indicators, typologies, and escalation channels.

Record-Keeping & Data Management

Ensure retention and accessibility of CDD and transaction records per regulatory requirements.
Support data protection compliance when handling sensitive customer information.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field (Master's degree or AML certifications preferred).
Experience in AML/CTF compliance is preferred, particularly within the contexts of finance and fintech company
Comprehensive understanding of the AML/CTF Act 2006, coupled with knowledge of AUSTRAC regulatory requirements and pertinent obligations set forth by ASIC.
A robust understanding of KYC/CDD processes, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring frameworks.
Proven experience in managing investigations and preparing Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs).
Prior exposure to trading platforms and environments involving high-frequency transactions.
Familiarity with international AML/CTF frameworks, including those established by FATF, EU AML Directives, UK FCA, and US FinCEN.
Holders of relevant certifications, such as CAMS or ICA Diploma, are encouraged to apply.

Supervises Security personnel on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

• In the absence of the Safety/Security Manager, functions on assigned shift as primary on center contact for on-duty supervisors, law enforcement agencies and other on-duty staff for immediate response to situations requiring Safety and Security staff attention.
• Continually makes physical inspections and security checks of grounds and facility and documents results.
• Performs safety/security officer duties and provides supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft, vandalism, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar disaster on assigned shift in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives.
• Informs the Safety/Security Manager or designee of anything that warrants immediate attention, including major incidents, extreme emergencies, unscheduled arrival of important visitors, etc.
• Investigates incidents on center and provides clear and accurate reports.
• Controls disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating situations.
• Completes required security logs, documentation, and records accurately and on time.
• Accurately logs employees, visitors, vendors, and students as they enter and exit the center.
• Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
