Fungsi Utama

Bertanggungjawab untuk mengurus dan menyelia pengenalan produk, proses dan perubahan baharu dalam proses pembuatan, dengan memberi tumpuan kepada rawatan permukaan seperti rawatan permukaan logam seperti penyaduran dan pembersihan.

Tugas & Tanggungjawab

1) Kepakaran Rawatan Permukaan:

• Pemahaman mendalam tentang pelbagai proses rawatan permukaan, seperti anodisasi, kromasi, elektropolish, pembersihan serta kesannya terhadap prestasi dan kebolehpercayaan produk.

2) Pengoptimuman Proses:

• Mengenal pasti dan melaksanakan penambahbaikan proses untuk meningkatkan kecekapan, mengurangkan kos dan meningkatkan kualiti.

3) Jaminan Kualiti:

• Membangun dan melaksanakan sistem kawalan kualiti, menjalankan audit, dan memastikan pematuhan kepada piawaian industri.

4) Keperluan Pelanggan:

• Fahami keperluan pelanggan dengan berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan bagi setiap pihak yang terlibat bagi memastikan kepuasan pelanggan dan kualiti produk.

5) Penyelesaian Masalah dan Analisis Punca Akar:

• Menyiasat dan menyelesaikan isu-isu yang timbul semasa proses NPI, selalunya menggunakan teknik seperti analisis kegagalan.

6) Dokumentasi dan Penyimpanan Rekod:

• Mengekalkan dokumentasi proses, prosedur dan data kawalan kualiti yang tepat.

7) Kerjasama dan Komunikasi:

• Bekerja secara berkesan dengan pasukan pelbagai fungsi, termasuk pembangunan produk, pembuatan dan kawalan kualiti.

8) Penambahbaikan Berterusan:

• Mengenal pasti bidang untuk penambahbaikan dan melaksanakan penyelesaian bagi meningkatkan kecekapan, mengurangkan kos dan meningkatkan kualiti produk.

9) Reka Bentuk untuk Kebolehkilangan (DFM):

• Menilai reka bentuk produk untuk kebolehkilangan dan membuat cadangan penambahbaikan bagi memastikan pengeluaran yang cekap.

• Mengurus projek NPI tepat pada masanya dan dalam bajet, termasuk penjadualan, peruntukan sumber dan pengesanan kemajuan.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.

About the Role

This is a dual-channel commercial role responsible for running both the sales and supply sides of Carousell Mobile Malaysia's online operations. You will handle all inbound buyer chats to convert sales, and all inbound supplier chats via Qontak to secure supply collection — then log every conversion in detail into Google Sheets for the operations team to process.

You own the front-end of both channels. Once a supply collection is confirmed, you hand off to the operations team for physical pickup and fulfilment. This role suits someone who is organised, fast with communication, commercially sharp, and takes full ownership of their numbers across both directions.

What You Will Do

Sales — Buyer Chat Handling & Conversion

• Manage all inbound buyer chats across online platforms (Carousell, Lazada, and others)

• Respond promptly and professionally to queries on product condition, warranty, pricing, and delivery

• Convert inbound leads into confirmed sales through clear, persuasive communication

• Handle objections confidently and guide buyers toward a purchase decision

• Identify opportunities to upsell higher-value devices or suggest relevant alternatives

• Execute follow-ups on cold or pending leads to recover lost conversions

• Execute WhatsApp broadcast campaigns to past buyers with relevant offers

Supply — Supplier Chat Handling & Collection Conversion

• Manage all inbound supplier chats via Qontak (Carousell Mobile Sellto, Lazada, and other supply channels)

• Respond to seller enquiries on pricing, device grading, and collection process

• Convert supplier leads into confirmed supply collection appointments

• Coordinate collection handoff to the operations team once supplier is confirmed

• Follow up on pending or uncommitted suppliers to close the supply pipeline

Data Entry & Google Sheets Logging

• Log every sales conversion in detail into the designated Google Sheets tracker

• Log every supply collection confirmation with full details — device info, seller contact, collection date, and status

• Keep all records up to date in real time to enable smooth ops processing

• Flag discrepancies or data issues to the Malaysia lead immediately

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with the operations team (Uze) on fulfilment, delivery updates, and supply collection scheduling

• Flag recurring buyer or supplier issues to management for process improvement

• Track personal conversion metrics across both channels and report weekly performance

Within Operations, your role is to support the needs of our clients in various ways, from answering queries to translating client needs into technical specifications and then working with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Acts as front and face for the operations team, both internally towards our Client Services team and directly with Clients: 

• Acts as front-facing point of contact for client queries related to operational deliveries 

• Initial analysis of client requests and raises tickets brought by Clients or Client Services through the appropriate channel 

• Proactively manages communication with client/client services team around potential delays, risk to delivery and impact of changes to client deliverables 

• Manage client expectations regarding operational technical possibilities around our product offerings and data quality 

• Communicate operational improvement initiatives in a clear and understandable manner to internal stakeholders and your clients 

Responsible to lead and drive the operational design, solutioning and delivery of client requests: 

• Capture client requirements around client delivery setups and adaptations, interpreting the client's needs and working with different stakeholders to provide the best solution 

• Responsible for acquiring information on feasibility/ timelines/ costing for changes/customizations for new setups and change requests 

• Investigates / problem solves to resolve issues/discrepancies and escalates to the appropriate team where required 

• Monitor clients' tickets and take appropriate actions to ensure on time and on quality execution, as well as prompt escalation/communication if potential issues arise 

• Ensures delivery of changed/new client deliveries as per agreed criterias. This may require the execution of a final quality check/validation prior to delivery. 

• Setup and maintain your client's delivery specifications using the Change Order Forms 

• "Advocate" of clients to constantly improve our technical solutions by critically questioning existing solutions and processes in order to meet our competitive position as market leader 

• Build knowledge to become Knowledge Champion as per Client Allocation sheet 

• Support/Execute on Business as Usual Administration and Project Tasks

The Data Processing Specialist is responsible for instructions of client deliverables, coding and data input validation focusing on specific industry/category or set of categories. To create and deliver client outputs in a correct and timely manner.

• Be the contact for commercial queries, leading the resolution in a client-focused and timely manner in cooperation with Client Liaison and Commercial teams. To be able to identify, investigate and coordinate the resolution of data, process, or product related queries
• Plan and execute a complex daily personal workload and support to meet departmental and company schedules
• Analyze and identify gaps and areas for improvement in coding, data input validation and client instructions environments (CIP - Consumer Information Platform) and drive the convergence of processes and tools
• Providing accurate and timely feedback to respective country teams, driving SOP and use of best-demonstrated practices
• Working across relevant Operations/Enablement teams to ensure delivery to client expectations and satisfaction
• Operate in a virtual/multi-cultural environment, liaising with stakeholders and colleagues.
