Specializing in performance marketing across marketplaces like Shopee, Lazada & TikTok, we focus on the entire 360-degree customer journey and build better digital experiences at each stage of the funnel. The part you will play

We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Regional Brand Marketing Strategist to join our team. This role operates at the exciting intersection of scale and strategy. You will hold a dual mandate: acting as a "horizontal" capability builder to develop a standardized, high-performing social commerce machine across markets, while also serving as the "vertical" strategic lead for key brand accounts.

You will not just be a thinker, but a capability builder who bridges the gap between overarching business goals, audience insights, full-funnel activation, and compelling content.

As a Regional Brand Marketing Lead, you will take charge of 

1. Brand Strategy & Account Leadership

• Own and develop strong, differentiated brand marketing strategies for assigned key accounts, grounded in:
• Business objectives
• Category dynamics
• Audience insights
• Act as the strategic lead on accounts, ensuring clarity and consistency across all marketing initiatives.
• Lead strategic conversations in pitches and QBRs, bringing a senior point of view and cross-market insights.

2. Full-Funnel Strategy & Translation

• Translate business strategy into end-to-end full-funnel marketing plans, including:
• Audience persona definition
• Funnel design (awareness → consideration → conversion)
• Channel roles (TikTok, Meta, marketplaces, etc.)
• Content strategy (what to say, not just what to produce)
• Ensure alignment and consistency across the full funnel and all channels.

3. Strategic Direction & Execution Alignment

• Provide clear strategic direction to:
• Creative teams (briefing, messaging, content approach)
• Performance teams (activation logic, channel strategy)
• Work at account level to ensure seamless execution of the strategy.

4. Data-Driven Strategy & Innovation

• Leverage tools and data sources such as:
• TikTok MarketScope
• Category benchmarks
• Competitive landscape analysis
• Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations to drive growth on assigned accounts.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Business, or any related fields
• 8+ years of experience in full-funnel performance marketing. 
• Experience in brand strategy, campaign planning, or integrated marketing.
• Proven experience in social commerce and digital platforms (TikTok, Shopee, Lazada, Meta).
• Ability to link creativity with performance metrics and business outcomes.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience in ecommerce or agency environments is a plus.

The Role

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Intern to be based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, who can drive forward our marketing services as a critical part of Intrepid’s overall business. This person will own the relationships with a variety of our leading Brand partners, manage best-in-class digital marketing and execute campaigns that are aligned with our client’s objectives and help them seize the full potential of e-commerce-driven digital
marketing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns to drive key KPI metrics across ecommerce marketplaces (Shopee, Tiktokshop, Lazada), SEM (Google Shopping), and social media (Collaborative/CPAS).
• Work closely with client teams to develop marketing plans and KPIs, as well as ongoing reporting
• Manage revenue delivery and budget spending, including daily optimization and providing real-time targeting recommendations

Who do we look for - The Ideal Profile:

• Basic knowledge and hands-on campaign execution experience on ecommerce
• Marketplace Ads (Lazada, Shopee, Tiktokshop) as well as experience in different digital media platforms such as but not limited to Facebook Ads, Google Adwords, Instagram ads, Tik Tok Ads, etc.,
• 0.5-1 year (digital) marketing/e-commerce marketing experience, either working with e-commerce platforms or a marketing role in a media agency/e-commerce enabler/distributor.
• Has proficiency in business communication in English, capable of handling daily communication with clients and managing regular meetings effectively.
• Possess basic project management skills, including the ability to coordinate tasks and ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Understanding of performance success metrics as well as tracking tools (ecommerce tracking, Google analytics, Google tag manager, Facebook Pixel tracking, UTM, 3rd Party Ad Serving (Campaign Manager)
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced client-driven start-up and ecommerce environment
