Decent Work-Life Balance for Cafe Managers
Working at AIM COFFEE was generally okay for my personal time. It's not perfect, but it's better than many coffee shop jobs out there. You know what you're getting into as a Cafe Manager.
As a Cafe Manager, I found the schedule pretty consistent for the F&B industry. We mostly stuck to fixed shifts, which really helped with planning my personal life. The team support at the Kuala Lumpur outlets was solid.
Some weekends can be super intense, especially at our busiest locations. You still get your days off, but you're definitely working hard during your onsite work shifts. It's not always easy to swap shifts.
Try to give managers more support during peak weekend shifts, maybe hire extra part-timers for the busiest coffee shop hours.
