Decent Remote Work, But Long Hours Can Happen
I worked at Endsofttech Web Solutions as a Junior Web Developer. It was a pretty typical experience for a small web solutions company. You get to learn a lot, but the work-life balance wasn't always great, especially with remote work sometimes blurring lines.
The biggest perk was the remote work option; it really helped with personal appointments. As a junior web developer, I got to work on lots of different projects, which was good for learning. The team was generally supportive when I needed help.
Work-life balance was a real struggle sometimes. I often felt pressure to work past 5 PM, and weekend pings weren't uncommon. For the web solutions industry, it felt like expectations for quick turnarounds were really high, making it hard to disconnect.
Try to set clearer boundaries for work hours. Encourage people to truly log off and don't expect responses after standard work times. This would really help with employee burnout.
