Okay Work-Life, Can Get Hectic Sometimes
My time as a Software Engineer at Acquire Intelligence was mostly fine. The team was great, but the project deadlines could be really tough for work-life balance.
I liked the team a lot; everyone's pretty supportive. As a Software Engineer, the core AI development work is interesting. We have a pretty solid hybrid model for work, so I wasn't always stuck in the San Francisco office.
Work-life balance can definitely be a struggle, especially when projects are crunching. Sometimes I'd log 50-60 hour weeks. It's not always consistent, which makes planning personal stuff tricky. The pressure to deliver on tight data science initiatives is real.
Try to better manage project scope and deadlines to avoid constant crunch times. A more predictable schedule would really help everyone.
