Pros: The biggest pro here is definitely the culture of learning and collaboration. As a Junior Structural Engineer, I've had so many opportunities to work on diverse projects and learn from experienced engineers. Colleagues are always willing to help, which makes it a really supportive environment. The company invests in career development, offering lots of training and mentorship. It's a stable company with interesting, impactful work in the engineering consulting space.
Cons: Sometimes the project timelines can be quite demanding, leading to occasional busy periods. It's manageable, but you definitely have to be prepared to put in extra effort sometimes. Also, while communication is generally good, sometimes getting approvals for smaller things can feel a bit slow with the internal processes, which is a minor frustration when you're trying to move quickly.
