Pay is okay, but benefits could be better
Working as a Software Engineer at Techdome definitely has its ups and downs when it comes to compensation. The base pay for software development roles in the Seattle tech market is decent, but the overall benefits package just doesn't quite measure up to other big tech companies.
The base salary as a Software Engineer is pretty competitive, especially for early career levels. They offer a solid 401k match that vests quickly, which is a nice perk. Plus, the WFH stipends for our hybrid setup help out a bit.
Stock compensation isn't very competitive compared to other big tech firms in the industry. The healthcare plans are just decent, and you'd expect more comprehensive options for a company this size. Also, the bonus structure isn't very clear and often feels pretty small.
Re-evaluate the total compensation package for software development employees, focusing on making stock options and healthcare benefits more competitive with other major tech companies in the Seattle area.
