Decent Pay, Benefits Need a Boost Here

Working at WEBBOOST SOLUTION IT SERVICES as a Software Developer has been an okay experience. The pay for my role is competitive for the Austin, TX tech industry, but the benefits package definitely feels a bit lacking compared to other mid-sized tech companies. There's potential if they improve compensation outside of just base salary.


Pros

The base salary for a Software Developer is pretty solid, especially if you're early in your career. It's competitive for the IT services sector in Austin. I appreciate the direct deposit and standard holiday pay.


Cons

Beyond the salary, the benefits package isn't great. Health insurance is basic, and there's no matching for 401k, which is tough. I've seen better perks at other mid-sized tech companies.


Advice to Management

Consider reviewing the entire benefits package, especially adding a 401k match. This would really help with employee retention for IT roles. Invest in better health plans to stay competitive.
