Decent Start, But Career Growth is Slow

I worked at SAIKOR SECURITY for a few years. It's a fine place to get started in the security industry, but don't expect a lot of upward movement.

Pros

The initial security training for new hires is solid. You learn a lot about the basics of security services. Colleagues in the Mumbai office are generally good people, which helps with onsite work.

Cons

Career growth is really tough here. As a Security Trainer, there aren't many opportunities to move up or specialize. It feels like security professionals hit a ceiling pretty fast.

Advice to Management

Focus on creating clear career paths for your security training staff. Invest in advanced certifications or specialized roles to keep good people from leaving.

Decent place for security training, but culture needs work
Pros: As a Security Trainer, you do get to work with a solid team; there's good camaraderie among the security personnel. The onsite work in the Mumbai office keeps things active. Training programs are fairly structured.
Cons: The company culture can feel pretty old-school. Communication from leadership often misses the mark, especially for those in private security operations. It's tough to feel heard sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to modernize internal communication channels. Listen more to the trainers and security services staff on the ground. Invest in some leadership training for mid-management.

Okay culture, but needs some updates
Pros: As a Security Trainer here, I've found the team to be really solid. Everyone helps each other out, especially when dealing with the various security training modules. It's a decent spot for getting your foot in the door within the security services industry.
Cons: There's not much transparency from management on company direction. The company culture feels a bit old-school, and they don't really push for new ideas. It can be tough to see real career growth here for security personnel.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving leadership communication. Invest in updated security training programs and methods. It would help a lot with employee morale.

Okay for starting, tough to advance here
Pros: They provide decent initial training for new Security Trainer roles. It's a stable company if you're looking for consistent onsite training assignments in the Pune, Maharashtra office.
Cons: There aren't many clear paths to move up the ladder; you often feel stuck. Management doesn't invest enough in professional development, so career growth is really tough for existing staff.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create more structured advancement opportunities and invest in skill-building programs for all employees, not just new hires. Give Security Trainers a reason to stay and grow.
