Brand Strategist

Solid team, but the pace is demanding

Working here as a Brand Strategist has its moments. The team is great, really supportive for branding projects. But honestly, the demands are pretty high, and it impacts your personal time. It's a high-energy environment in our Austin office.

Pros

The people are great, genuinely collaborative. Everyone's passionate about our branding projects. It's a good place for creative roles like a Brand Strategist if you love the work.

Cons

Work-life balance here isn't easy. You're expected to be 'on' all the time. The company culture can feel cliquey sometimes, and burnout is a real thing, especially during client crunch times.

Advice to Management

Address burnout directly. Encourage real breaks and set clearer boundaries for client work. Make sure feedback for career paths is consistent across all creative roles.

Graphic Designer

Okay pay, but benefits could be better
Pros: The starting salary for a junior Graphic Designer was pretty solid when I joined. They also offer a decent health insurance plan for a mid-sized agency, which is a big plus.
Cons: Annual raises are really small, so it's tough to significantly grow your income here. Bonuses aren't much of a thing for individual design roles, and the pay doesn't feel competitive for the Dallas market over time.
Advice to Management: Please re-evaluate the compensation structure for your creative teams. It's hard to retain good talent in a competitive market like Dallas if pay doesn't keep up with industry standards.
