Provide technical guidance to Certification Center to help achieve Quality Goals and Performance Standards. Manage aspects of the process to ensure:
o Trade Facilitation through timely, correct and/or consistent issuance, and provision of opinion as reported on the Certificates of Conformity following Conformity Assessment Instructions, TFS Business Rules and all other related references;
o Compliance to Company Policies, Rules and Regulations;
o Monitor results and take corrective actions.
· Provide PCA-related technical support as required by Management.
· Ensure compliance of the Certification Center processes to relevant standards e.g. ISO 17020, ISO 17065 etc.
· Assist in strategic planning by identifying goals for the section.
· Assume the roles of CC Technical Manager in their designated field per ISO/IEC 17020 and/or ISO/IEC 17065 standards. This role is equivalent of CC Technical Support Manager in the global job description.
· Act as a certification reviewer on EAC Ready certification scheme
· Defining risk assessment for the product group under its expertise, applying a flexibility approach to complex cases within the bounds of good conformity assessment practices.
· Taking decision on final actions for escalated cases.
