Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a experienced ETL Developer with over 3 to 5 years of hands-on expertise in data extraction, transformation and loading processes.
Requirements
- ETL Process Development: Develop, and optimize ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target data warehouses or databases.
- Data Transformation: Implement data transformation logic to clean, aggregate, and enrich raw data into usable formats for analysis.
- Database Management: Work with MS-SQL, T-SQL and SSIS databases (SQL).
- Automation: Develop automated ETL jobs and workflows using industry-standard ETL tools
- Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and optimize ETL processes to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, data analysts, and business teams for project needs.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and quality of data throughout the ETL pipeline, performing testing and validation at each stage of the process.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot issues related to ETL processes and data loading, providing timely solutions and maintaining documentation of all troubleshooting steps.
- Production Support: Experience in providing job monitoring as part of prod support. Follow ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of ETL workflows, data transformations, and system configurations.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum models and Azure DevOps
Required Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL development, with a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines.
- ETL Tools: Excellent in ETL tools like T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS (mandatory skills)
- Database Expertise: Strong MS-SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SSRS or Power BI
- Exposure to data modeling
- Knowledge of on-prem infrastructure and Windows Server environments
- Experience with data migration or modernization projects
- Familiarity with incident management tools (ADO, Jira, etc.)
