Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled AV (Audio-Visual) Technician to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment for various events, meetings, and internal operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate audio-visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, lighting, and video conferencing systems.
- Prepare and test equipment prior to events and ensure everything is functioning properly.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV systems in conference rooms, offices, and event spaces.
- Provide on-site support during events, meetings, and live presentations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to AV equipment and software.
- Maintain inventory of AV equipment and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and event coordinators for setup and requirements.
- Stay updated on AV technology trends and suggest improvements or upgrades when needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
- Solid understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment.
- Familiarity with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Webex).
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.
