About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help build and integrate distributed systems across cloud platforms, edge devices, and operator interfaces. You will develop scalable, reliable software for ground station control, real-time data visualization, and cross-system communication in a robotics-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a Qt-based Ground Station for mission monitoring and telemetry visualization
- Develop backend services and APIs (REST/gRPC) using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Create communication bridges (gRPC, MQTT, WebSocket) between ROS2 and the Ground Station
- Work with relational, time-series, and NoSQL databases via frameworks or middleware
- Design responsive UIs with Qt/QML and backend services using Python or Go
- Write unit and integration tests for both UI and API layers
- Maintain UX wireframes, sequence diagrams, and deployment documentation
Requirements
- Proven background in Full-Stack or Software Development for distributed systems
- Strong skills in Python, Go, or C++, with experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Qt/QML for UI development and gRPC/MQTT for communication
- Experience integrating systems with ROS2 or similar robotics middleware
- Experience working with relational, time-series, and NoSQL databases through frameworks or middleware
- Fluent in English for asynchronous communication with global teams
- Own equipment: reliable laptop/PC, noise-cancelling headset, stable internet with backup power, and a quiet workspace
Location & Schedule
- Remote, full-time, flexible (based in Pakistan)
- Working hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM PKT (aligned with CET business hours)
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
