Job Title: Sales Operations Manager
Location: BGC, Taguig (Full-time, Onsite)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Sales Operations Manager to lead and optimize the end-to-end sales operations of our installment lending business. The role is responsible for improving merchant acquisition, sales conversion, loan disbursement efficiency, and overall sales productivity across retail, field, and digital channels.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in consumer finance or fintech installment lending and possesses a deep understanding of merchant operations, POS financing, sales funnel management, and credit-risk coordination. This role will work closely with Sales, Credit Risk, Operations, Product, and Collections teams to ensure sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining healthy credit quality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Funnel Management
- Manage and optimize the complete sales funnel process from merchant onboarding, customer application, credit approval, activation, and loan disbursement
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales pipeline metrics including leads generated, approval rates, conversion rates, activation rates, disbursement volume, and turnaround time
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer conversion
- Develop scalable sales operational processes and SOPs to support business expansion
Merchant & Channel Performance Management
- Oversee performance of merchant partners, retail stores, field sales agents, and digital acquisition channels
- Analyze merchant productivity, loan quality, fraud trends, and channel profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and channel partners to drive sales growth and customer acquisition
- Recommend expansion opportunities based on market performance and business data
KPI & Performance Management
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- Loan disbursement volume
- Conversion rate
- Approval rate
- Average ticket size
- Merchant productivity
- Sales agent performance
- Portfolio quality metrics
- Prepare regular business reviews, dashboards, and performance reports for management
- Conduct data-driven analysis and recommend action plans to improve sales productivity and operational efficiency
Systems & Process Optimization
- Manage and maximize CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and operational dashboards
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to enhance system workflows, automation, and user experience
- Ensure proper data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational compliance
Risk & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Credit Risk and Fraud teams to balance business growth and portfolio quality
- Monitor risk indicators and ensure sales practices comply with company policies and regulatory standards
- Partner with Operations and Collections teams to improve customer lifecycle management and repayment performance
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor Sales Operations staff and support teams
- Conduct performance coaching, training, and process alignment sessions
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 3–8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Management, or Business Operations within the fintech, consumer finance, or installment lending industry
- Must have experience from installment lending or consumer finance companies such as:
- Home Credit
- Salmon
- BillEase
- Tonik
- or similar fintech/consumer lending organizations
- Strong background in:
- Device financing
- POS installment lending
- Retail financing channels
- Merchant acquisition and management
- Proven experience in sales funnel optimization and operational performance management
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced Excel required, SQL or BI tools preferred
- Experience managing teams and handling cross-functional coordination
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven fintech environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital lending, BNPL, or embedded finance products
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, loan management systems, and sales analytics tools
- Exposure to risk management, fraud monitoring, and credit policy implementation
- Experience handling nationwide retail or field sales operations is an advantage
