Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Pricing Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing purchasing data, pricing information, and supplier cost structures to support procurement decisions and improve pricing strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to work closely with purchasing and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze purchasing and pricing data from various sources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing databases and supplier cost records.
- Identify trends and anomalies in pricing and cost data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to optimize supplier negotiations and contract terms.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing analysis and purchasing performance.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
- Support the finance team with relevant purchasing and pricing data as required.
Requirments
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in purchasing or pricing roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
- Experience with purchasing and procurement processes is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in the granite or construction materials industry is a plus, but not required.
