Specialist, Technology Operation – Network (Philippines) | Mandaluyong, Metro Manila | Hybrid (3 days RTO per week)
Job Summary:
The Specialist, Technology Operation – Network is responsible for resolving technical issues, including those without predefined processes, while driving process standardization and knowledge retention.
This role requires deep technical expertise in specific domains, supported by a broad foundation across IT infrastructure. The Specialist contributes to technical documentation, knowledge base development, and process improvement initiatives, while identifying and mitigating risks in non-standard scenarios.
The role also supportstask management, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration, while leading technical issue resolution and contributing to overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure Platform Management (80%)
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure platforms to support critical business applications and services, ensuring secure and efficient network communication across the organization and with U.S.-based client IT systems.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Analyze performance trends, identify potential risks, and recommend optimizations
Capacity Assurance:
Propose capacity expansion plans and support implementation
Procurement Coordination:
Ensure technical specifications align with business requirements
Procurement Budget Planning:
Gather budget data and provide justification
Innovative Solutions R&D:
Research, evaluate, and propose new technologies and solutions
Solution Iteration & Upgrades:
Identify operational issues and suggest improvements
Solution Implementation:
Deploy and configure infrastructure solutions
Automation:
Develop complex scripts and enhance existing tools
Resource Integration:
Perform system and platform integration activities
2. Security Assurance (20%)
Protect the organization’s IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities through the implementation of security controls, updates, and protocols.
Security Monitoring:
Analyze logs and detect potential risks
Threat Mitigation:
Design response strategies and coordinate mitigation efforts
Incident Resolution:
Handle non-standard incidents and ensure proper documentation
Incident Management:
Summarize incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements
Preventive Measures:
Define and recommend preventive controls
Business Continuity Planning (BCP):
Develop BCP plans and recommend testing approaches
BCP Drills:
Evaluate test results and propose improvements
Compliance:
Support audits by preparing materials and improvement reports
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certifications
CCNA required
CCNP or equivalent strongly preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 4 years of overall IT experience
At least 2 years of experience in networking, including project exposure
Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC)environment is preferred
Experience administering a medium-sized network (750+ nodes) is preferred

Proven ability to manage or contribute to projects, including at least one6-month project experience
