Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Intern at Skoollage, you will gain practical experience in protecting systems, identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and understanding real-time cyber threats. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity and enter one of the fastest-growing tech fields.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and system activities.
🔹 Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing security controls.
🔹 Conduct risk assessments and basic penetration testing under supervision.
🔹 Help create, review, and update cybersecurity policies & compliance documents.
🔹 Support IT/security teams in responding to and resolving incidents.
🔹 Research new cyber threats, malware trends, and defense strategies.
Requirements
🎓 Pursuing/completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
🔐 Understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and system protection basics.
🛠 Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux (preferred).
📌 Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is a plus.
🧠 Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
