We are looking for a problem-solving Software Engineer to join our team. Your main mission will be building and maintaining robust, efficient integrations between our platform and external systems, ensuring data flows smoothly into downstream record-keeping systems while maintaining absolute data integrity.
Requisitos
- Strong experience working with APIs, ETL / data pipelines, and file processing
- Solid experience developing backend solutions and applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Proven hands-on experience building, deploying, and managing APIs on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Solid track record of debugging and troubleshooting complex system behaviors in production environments
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement technical documentation and file specifications provided by third-party vendors
- Proficiency with database systems to validate data consistency and manage data states (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
Responsabilidades
- Design & Develop Integrations: Build adapters, authentication flows, and data extraction processes to interact seamlessly with third-party platforms and recordkeepers
- Flatfile & Pipeline Management: Lead flatfile integrations, covering both read-only ingestion and write-back capabilities to enable pushing data back to external systems
- Data Mapping & Normalization: Interpret external system requirements and file specifications to configure precise cross-system data mapping and asynchronous data normalization pipelines
- Validation & Integrity: Ensure all generated data and files strictly adhere to external formatting rules, schemas, and validation constraints
- Production Troubleshooting: Investigate and debug integration failures in production environments, identify root causes, implement fixes, and manage issue tracking or escalation via ticketing systems when necessary
Bueno que tenga
- Language: Full professional English proficiency to comfortably interact with global technical documentation and systems
- Prior experience building payroll, benefits, or fintech integrations involving complex external record-keepers
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and dynamic workflow solutions utilizing webhooks
- Experience with complementary ecosystem technologies like Python or Ruby on Rails is a plus
