Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, effectively presenting products, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The Sales Associate will also support daily store operations and contribute to achieving both individual and team sales targets.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them by explaining product features, benefits, and pricing.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and follow company payment procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock merchandise, and ensure displays, pricing, and promotions are properly maintained.
- Support the Store Manager and team with daily store operations and customer service activities.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets through a customer-focused selling approach.
- Recommend complementary or additional products through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the sales floor at all times.
- Assist in marketing and promotional initiatives, including in-store events, social media content, live selling sessions, and campaigns.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions, special offers, and new product arrivals.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and timely follow-ups.
- Prepare and submit required daily or weekly sales reports.
Qualifications
- Strong and confident communication skills when interacting with customers.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram.
- Experience in online selling or live selling is an advantage.
