Job Summary
The Company Nurse is responsible for providing healthcare services, promoting occupational health and safety, and ensuring compliance with workplace health regulations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves administering first aid, monitoring employee health conditions, assisting in emergency response, and supporting the companys safety and wellness programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first aid treatment and immediate medical assistance to employees during work-related injuries and illnesses
- Monitor and record employees medical conditions and treatment
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and clinic documentation
- Conduct daily clinic operations and ensure availability of medicines and medical supplies
- Assist in implementing occupational health and safety programs in compliance with labor regulations
- Coordinate annual physical examinations, pre-employment medical exams, and vaccination programs
- Support incident investigations involving workplace injuries and accidents
- Monitor employees exposed to occupational hazards such as chemicals, noise, dust, and heat
- Conduct health awareness seminars and wellness activities
- Coordinate with company physicians, hospitals, and external healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Employment occupational safety and health standards
- Prepare monthly health reports, sickness monitoring, and accident reports
- Participate in emergency preparedness and evacuation drills
- Monitor sanitation and hygiene conditions within the production area, canteen, and facilities
- Assist HR and Safety Officers in employee health-related concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with valid PRC license
- With BOSH/OSH certification is an advantage
- At least 12 years of experience in occupational health or manufacturing setup preferred
- Knowledgeable in workplace safety, industrial hazards, and emergency response
- Proficient in MS Office and medical documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to work shifting schedules if required
