Job Description

**What You’ll Be Doing:**

You’ll step into the role of **Software Integration Engineer**, driving the full technology development lifecycle—from system and software design to collaboration, automation tooling, infrastructure upgrades, and seamless software integration. You’ll work across a diverse set of host environments, including aircraft software, high‑fidelity simulators, and lab setups that blend constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system‑level models.

  • Your Core Responsibilities:**
  • **Develop, integrate, support, and debug** cutting‑edge software across multiple platforms.
  • **Own and troubleshoot** CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds are fast, reliable, and reproducible.
  • **Champion virtual development labs** and aircraft‑software workflows, keeping them nimble and user‑friendly.
  • **Design and build** automation frameworks using a mix of open‑source, commercial, and in‑house tools—letting you experiment with the latest technologies.
  • **Engage daily** in scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos, sharing progress and learning with the team.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  • Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
  • Experience with Real-time software development and integration
  • Experience programming in Python
  • A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems
  • Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons
  • Experience with Open Mission Systems
  • Experience leading software projects
