Location: Blenheim Rd, Ashbourne, DE6 1HA
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Shift: Day shift :Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00
Pay rate: £15.23
We’re looking for an experienced Line Controller to manage and motivate a team to achieve daily packing and processing targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a production team to meet output and quality targets.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Quality standards.
- Monitor line performance, minimise downtime, and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management on performance, issues, and targets.
- Organise labour, manage breaks, and ensure smooth shift handovers.
- Support and train team members to meet line and company requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain production flow and product quality.
- Complete KPI records and lead daily team briefings.
- Promote safe and environmentally responsible working practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing or supervising a production team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Hands-on approach with a focus on results and efficiency.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
