GECO Asia is Hiring: Data Engineer
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support business reporting and analytics. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in data engineering who is eager to grow, take ownership, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do - Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Transform raw data into clean, usable datasets for analytics and reporting
- Monitor and support data workflows to ensure reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data needs
- Support data quality, governance, and security practices
- Assist in improving data processes, automation, and performance
- Contribute to documentation and data workflow standards
Key Skills & Experience - 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python (Java is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases (NoSQL is a plus)
- Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Spark, pandas)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Exposure to data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
- Basic understanding of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
