Role Overview
The Systems Administrator executes day-to-day operations, account provisioning, endpoint management, and performance monitoring across the enterprise server infrastructure. Stationed across core corporate locations, this role focuses on server system availability, directory service administration, and identity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot core server platforms, including Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2022.
- Maintain Domain Controller health by monitoring replication consistency, connectivity diagnostics, replication queues, and application logs.
- Execute the full lifecycle of identity operations for User Accounts, Service Accounts, and Organizational Units (OUs), managing creations, modifications, and deletions.
- Configure specialized user objects, including profiles, login scripts, group memberships, and account passwords.
- Administer core messaging assets, configuring enterprise mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource objects, SMTP addresses, and distribution lists.
- Provision network drives and folders, applying security permissions, share configurations, and disk quotas.
- Conduct daily performance monitoring, tracking server utilization, storage capacities, and security event logs.
- Perform physical server hardware maintenance, including unboxing, rack mounting, part replacements, and diagnostics.
- Execute routine server software maintenance, handling configurations, version upgrades, and monthly patch/hotfix deployments.
- Administer client device statuses, security profiles, and system updates utilizing Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor central anti-virus management structures through the Trend Micro console and Microsoft 365 Defender.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot corporate network printing assets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical training certificate, corresponding project history, and mandatory technology certifications with at least 2 years of experience.
- Certified proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server (2008 R2/2012 R2 or higher) and Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory.
- Certified operational competence in Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 or higher.
- Certified knowledge in Office 365 Administration Center Management and Microsoft Azure Administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with HP hardware management software and server tools.
