We are currently looking for an Accounting Associate who will be working with Connext's Client in Singapore.

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing payment processes, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements across our Singapore and regional centers. This role will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and support the smooth operation of our finance department.
Responsibilities:
• Handling payments and AP related duties for Singapore and regional centers.
• Checking and reconciling supplier/vendor invoices to quotations and handle discrepancies.
• Ensuring supplier/vendor invoices are approved in accordance with internal DOA limits.
• Keying invoices into Workday (Finance accounting system).
• Preparing payments to suppliers/vendors by creating transactions in bank internet platforms.
• Paying deposit refunds to members in a timely manner.
• Maintaining proper filing and records.
• Preparing and reconciling AP aging report with General ledger.
• Ensuring all controls are in compliance with internal/external audit requirements.
• Managing any other ad hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager or AP Team Lead.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in accounts payable or accounting related experiences.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes.
• Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills to handle customer inquiries and build positive relationships.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to engage confidently and effectively in conversations with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must have stable employment history.
