Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Bookkeeper to manage high-volume daily accounting tasks for multiple small business clients. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in
QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop , a solid
US accounting background , excellent time management skills, and the ability to balance bookkeeping responsibilities with light administrative support. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent client communication and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping functions for 75–85 small business clients , ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Process and maintain transactions and statements for bank accounts, credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App .
- Prepare monthly and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) .
- Monitor and manage client inboxes, responding to emails promptly and professionally.
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars using Google Calendar .
- Prepare, send, and track DocuSign documents, following up to ensure completion.
- Provide administrative support during lower-volume bookkeeping periods.
- Organize and maintain financial records, client files, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure deadlines are met while delivering excellent client service across multiple accounts.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience .
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) .
- Solid US accounting knowledge and bookkeeping background .
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and high-volume workloads efficiently.
- Experience working with digital statements and cloud-based accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is an advantage.
