"Detail-Oriented Bookkeeper | QuickBooks Expert | Managing High-Volume Client Accounts with Accuracy and Efficiency"

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage high-volume daily accounting tasks for multiple small business clients. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop , a solid US accounting background , excellent time management skills, and the ability to balance bookkeeping responsibilities with light administrative support. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent client communication and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping functions for 75–85 small business clients , ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Process and maintain transactions and statements for bank accounts, credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App .
  • Prepare monthly and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) .
  • Monitor and manage client inboxes, responding to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars using Google Calendar .
  • Prepare, send, and track DocuSign documents, following up to ensure completion.
  • Provide administrative support during lower-volume bookkeeping periods.
  • Organize and maintain financial records, client files, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure deadlines are met while delivering excellent client service across multiple accounts.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience .
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) .
  • Solid US accounting knowledge and bookkeeping background .
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and high-volume workloads efficiently.
  • Experience working with digital statements and cloud-based accounting systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is an advantage.
