Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Situations Manager to lead the resolution of complex network incidents and ensure the stability, performance, and availability of enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale enterprise networks, along with strong leadership and incident management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the resolution of critical network incidents and service disruptions.
- Manage major incident response activities and serve as the primary escalation point for network-related issues.
- Design, implement, and support large enterprise network infrastructures.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential risks and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service availability and operational excellence.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) activities and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and infrastructure governance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network engineering and operations teams.
- Support change management activities, including planning, testing, and deployment of network changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in implementing, designing, and supporting large enterprise networks.
- Advanced expertise in:
- BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
- EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol)
- OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)
- LAN/WLAN Technologies
- Network Infrastructure Security
- Strong experience in incident management, problem management, and network operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment is preferred.
Required Certifications
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) – Required
- CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) or CCIE Written Passer – Preferred
