Overview:
We're hiring an Inventory Planner to oversee inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, SKU-level inventory management, and supply chain coordination for a fast-growing ecommerce consumer brand. This role goes beyond logistics coordination — it requires someone who can proactively manage inventory health, identify supply risks early, and support operational decision-making through accurate planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting & Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels, sell-through trends, and SKU performance; build and maintain inventory forecasts based on sales, seasonality, launches, and promotions; manage replenishment planning and reorder timing across product lines.
- Inventory Analysis & Reporting: Analyze inventory movement, weeks of coverage, and purchasing requirements; maintain visibility into stock planning metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Purchase Order & Supplier Coordination: Track POs, production timelines, and inbound inventory; coordinate with suppliers; monitor lead times and flag supply risks early.
- Logistics & 3PL Coordination: Work with freight providers and 3PL partners on inbound inventory; resolve discrepancies; maintain stock accuracy across systems.
- Launch & Seasonal Planning: Support inventory readiness for product launches, campaigns, and seasonal demand spikes; align inventory with marketing and sales activity.
Qualifications — Required:
- 3+ years in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain planning
- Strong ecommerce inventory planning background
- SKU-level forecasting and replenishment experience
- Experience with high-SKU ecommerce catalogs and founder-led/fast-growing brands
- Experience supporting product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning
- Comfortable coordinating with suppliers, freight partners, and 3PLs
- Strong analytical skills (sales & inventory data interpretation)
- Hands-on with ERP, inventory management, or operational planning systems
- Proactive in spotting inventory risks and operational bottlenecks
