IT Strategy Associate

About The Role
The IT Strategy Associate provides workstream-level execution, coordination, and analytical support for strategic programs managed by the IT Strategy & Performance team. This role combines disciplined project tracking with supporting research and analysis, ensuring that programs are delivered on time and that workstream owners receive clear inputs, synthesized from internal data and partner-supported insights, to drive sound decision-making.
What You'll Do: Workstream Tracking & Execution
- Maintain detailed workstream-level tracking of milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues proactively to the IT Strategy Manager
- Ensure on-time, high-quality outputs and outcomes for all assigned projects and workstreams
- Coordinate logistics and materials for working sessions, steering committees, and review forums
Research & Analytical Support
- Support the development of evidence-based points of view by gathering data, conducting targeted research, and synthesizing inputs from internal analysis and partner-delivered insights
- Perform targeted analyses to inform strategic decisions across the IT portfolio
- For new initiatives, support the definition of approach, work plan, timeline, and expected impact, coordinating with partners where specialist expertise is required
Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare clear, concise briefing materials and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Support the IT Strategy Manager in producing program reporting and executive communications
Key Performance Indicators
- On-time delivery rate for assigned workstream milestones and deliverables
- Quality of analytical outputs as assessed by the IT Strategy Manager and Head of IT Strategy & Performance
- Proactive escalation rate: issues surfaced before they become blockers
- Stakeholder feedback on briefing material clarity and usefulness
What We're Looking For: Required Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Years of Experience: 0–3 years in IT project coordination, business analysis, technology operations, or a related analytical or project-support role. Fresh graduates with strong analytical aptitude will be considered.
Core Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, structured outputs
- Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence)
- Solid foundational understanding of IT concepts, SDLC, and technology delivery processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience
Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Technology Management, or a related discipline.
Years of Experience: 3–5 years with experience in IT program support, technology operations, or business analysis within financial services.
Advanced Skills
- Exposure to large-scale technology transformation or modernization programs
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, SRE, or other modern IT delivery frameworks
- Experience working in environments where consulting firms are embedded alongside internal teams

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with cross-functional counterparts
