The Role
- Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services
- Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025
- Collaborate with global AWS teams to influence service and technology evolution
- Enhance day-to-day operations and improve availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of ESC
- Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers
What You'll Need
- National of an EU member state
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related IT discipline) or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript, or similar)
- Foundational knowledge of Linux and networking for troubleshooting and optimization
- Fluency in written and spoken English
