The Company Nurse / Safety Officer is responsible for promoting employee health, safety, and well-being within the publishing house. The position provides basic medical assistance, monitors workplace health and safety compliance, and implements occupational safety and health programs to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid, basic healthcare services, and medical assistance to employees.
- Maintain employee medical records and monitor health-related concerns.
- Coordinate annual physical examinations, health programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Administer and monitor workplace safety and health policies in compliance with government regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
- Organize safety trainings, emergency drills, and occupational health awareness activities.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and reportorial requirements.
- Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and emergency responders as necessary.
- Perform other health, safety, and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
- Accredited Safety Officer (SO2 or higher) preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
