For our client, we are seeking a Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead daily program operations to achieve project objectives
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Monitor program progress, performance, and budget; provide updates
- Identify risks and implement strategies for mitigation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage resources effectively, including personnel and vendors
- Act as primary stakeholder contact, addressing concerns and questions
- Facilitate meetings to foster teamwork and alignment with goals
- Analyze KPIs to recommend program improvements
Qualifications
- Experience managing government contracts of similar size and complexity
- Commitment to dedicating time to the contract and associated tasks
- Proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects from start to finish
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years in management or public services, with 3+ years as project principal/director
