Data Center Infrastructure Technician
We are looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Technician to join a leading enterprise IT environment and play a key role in the operation, maintenance, and deployment of critical data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Plan and deploy passive communication infrastructure (fiber optic and copper cabling)
🔹 Install and rack IT equipment in server and communication cabinets, including basic configuration when required
🔹 Support troubleshooting and incident resolution activities
🔹 Update and maintain DCIM systems according to service requests
🔹 Manage inventory and equipment lifecycle processes
🔹 Work closely with infrastructure teams under defined SLA commitments
🔹 Participate in an on-call rotation outside regular working hours
Requirements:
✔ At least 1 year of experience working with Data Center infrastructure environments
✔ Hands-on experience with passive communication infrastructure (fiber optics and copper cabling)
✔ Experience installing and maintaining servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other IT hardware
✔ Experience with physical installation of IT equipment and basic device configuration
✔ Strong technical troubleshooting skills
✔ Experience with DCIM systems – an advantage
✔ PC support experience – an advantage
