About Ascendance Foundry
Ascendance Foundry is building a new model for education and workforce development centred around structured apprenticeships, elite mentorship, and practical AI fluency.
We Believe
- Apprenticeship belongs at the centre of education
- Winning with AI requires the fastest workforce retraining in history
Our Fellowship programs place exceptional students directly inside ambitious organizations, where they learn by building alongside experienced operators, technical leaders, and founders.
We work with companies across industries including AI, energy, manufacturing, legal services, finance, biotech, and operations.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organized, energetic, and people-oriented Programs & Outreach Coordinator to help us build one of the strongest student talent networks in Canada.
This is an unusually high-impact early-career role. You will help identify and recruit exceptional students from high schools and universities across Canada, support Fellowship programming and events, and help shape the experience of our Fellows and alumni community.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career — especially a recent graduate, teacher’s college graduate, or someone interested in education, talent development, entrepreneurship, startups, or community building.
We care far more about intelligence, initiative, adaptability, and communication skills than about specific credentials.
What You’ll Do
Recruitment & Outreach
- Build relationships with universities, student groups, educators, and school networks
- Help identify and recruit top-performing students across Canada
- Coordinate outreach campaigns, information sessions, and recruiting events
- Support application review and candidate communications
- Help expand AF’s national talent pipeline
Programs & Community
- Help coordinate Fellowship programming, workshops, hackathons, and events
- Support Fellows throughout the program experience
- Help strengthen our alumni and mentor community
- Improve systems, communications, and operational processes
- Help create an exceptional participant experience
Growth & Operations
- Support partnerships and community initiatives
- Help manage internal program operations and coordination
- Contribute ideas to improve recruitment, programming, and engagement
- Take ownership of projects and help build systems as AF grows
Who We’re Looking For
You May Be a Fit If You Are
- Extremely organized and reliable
- Energetic and enthusiastic around people
- A fast learner who thrives in ambiguous environments
- Strong verbally and in writing
- Comfortable taking initiative without being micromanaged
- Excited by education, mentorship, startups, AI, or entrepreneurship
- Naturally proactive and resourceful
- Ambitious and hungry to grow quickly
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience leading student groups, events, clubs, camps, or community initiatives
- Recruiting, mentorship, coaching, tutoring, or teaching experience
- Experience with social media, events, CRM systems, or operations tools
- Strong network within schools or universities
Why This Role Is Different
Most early-career jobs give people narrow responsibilities and little ownership.
This role is different.
You will work closely with founders, operators, technical leaders, and ambitious students while helping shape a new model for education and workforce development. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact early in your career and help build systems and communities that scale nationally.
If you are ambitious, highly capable, and excited by the idea of helping build the future of education and AI-enabled work, we’d love to hear from you.
