Primary Function:
Working within the NetSec team you will be responsible for supporting leading security solutions and services for our clients.
The role requires proficiency with industry-leading technology, minimum Check Point at CCSE (Check Point Security Expert) level or equivalent. Experience with other vendors such as Fortinet, CrowdStrike and F5 is highly desirable.
Main Tasks:
- Perform technical investigation utilising a proactive approach to customer network security management in a range of network security solutions.
- Configure and maintain existing deployed security solutions to industry and security best practices.
- Take ownership of proactive health checks including device security patching, major version upgrades, access control policy configuration & management and threat prevention policy management.
- Take ownership or reactive tasks such as support requests, change implementation incident / Issue, troubleshooting and incident response support.
- Other daily task may include supporting with stateful inspection firewall, site-to-Site VPN, remote access VPN (Including SASE), network static routing, network dynamic routing and EDR anti-malware & client configuration.
- Active participation in the team on-call rota when required.

Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years’+ experience in security or networking positions
- Holds a Check Point CCSE qualification or equivalent in other security vendors. (F5 BIG-IP, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, SentinelOne)
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems advantageous
- Familiarity with SNMP management systems
- Experienced in working with VPN technologies and route and switch environments.
