We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join our growing Aluminum & uPVC Windows and Doors Division. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of profiles, hardware, and fabrication methods, and who can support the company from design stage to jobsite installation.
The successful candidate will serve as the technical backbone of our operations, ensuring that every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Technical Support
- Recommend appropriate window/door profiles and systems (sliding, casement, awning, fixed, etc.).
- Review architectural drawings and prepare shop drawings.
- Provide technical solutions to design challenges, ensuring strength, water-tightness, and functionality.
- Planning & Fabrication Support
- Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for profile, hardware, and accessory requirements.
- Optimize materials to minimize wastage and ensure cost efficiency.
- Jobsite & Installation Support
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before production.
- Provide installation plans and supervise jobsite execution.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on site (alignment, water leakage, hardware fitment).
- Coordinate with contractors and site supervisors to ensure timely completion.
- Quality & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and technical records for projects.
- Support continuous improvement in product design and installation methods.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (PRC license is an advantage but not required).
- At least 23 years of experience in aluminum/uPVC windows, doors, or faade systems.
- Strong knowledge of profiles, hardware, glass, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D is an advantage).
- Skilled in preparing cutting lists, BOQs, and shop drawings.
- Experience in site measurement, supervision, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills (with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors).
