Responsible for performing TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other metals according to engineering drawings and welding procedures. Company standards, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform welding works using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures and equipment.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
Operate and maintain welding machines, hand tools, and other related equipment.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.
Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and work areas.
Report equipment defects, safety hazards, and operational issues to the supervisor.
Assist in other fabrication, maintenance, and production activities as assigned.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
Qualifications
High School Graduate, Vocational Course, or Technical Training in Welding.
Preferably with NC II Welding Certification.
With experience in welding and metal fabrication is an advantage.
Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety standards.
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work overtime and on shifting schedules if required.
